Chauncey Zarion Kerr, age 70, a native and former resident of Yeddo, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the Allen Nursing Home in Rockville. Mr. Kerr was born Feb. 2, 1890 in Yeddo, the son of Charles Irwin and Sarah Ellen Davis Kerr. He was married in 1916 to Lydia Llewellyn, who preceded him in death in 1952. He had been a coal miner most of his life. Surviving are three sons, Earl of Santa Monica, Calif., Richard of Indianapolis and Charles of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Steana Shannon of Clinton and Mrs. Estella Runyan of South Bend; and one brother, Marion of Newport. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock (CST) at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here. The Rev. Glenn Ray, pastor of the Covington Baptist Church, will officiate.
